Scafell is one of the apartments situated in the Garden House, which is a detached property of three apartments adjoining our lawns and gardens. There are five steps down to the front door of the apartment. Once through the front door an internal staircase leads to the first floor apartment. There is one step down t the bedrooms from the main hall.
It comprises one double bedroom and one twin bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet. Accommodation is for four guests. there is no outside seating area.
Scafell is a spacious first floor apartment, above the Mardale apartment. It has a very light, airy, attractively furnished lounge with views over nearby Stock Ghyll towards Ambleside and Loughrigg. The view from the comfortable double bedroom is of Wansfell, and overlooks the front gardens. The family bathroom has recently been refurbished and is of a very high standard. The twin bedroom - with the en-suite - is charming and overlooks the lawns of Kirkstone Foot, as does the separate fully fitted, pleasant kitchen. The views alone are enough to promise a delightful stay.
Parking is adjacent to the apartment.
For guests wanting more spacious accommodation, this apartment for four can be used by two persons at the rate quoted for three (excluding Easter, Christmas and New Year) |

Midweek Break - commence your midweek break on a Monday and stay Thursday night free of charge.
(this offer is not available Christmas & New Year)
We are now taking 2 night
short notice bookings at the weekend, subject to availability. Please
apply for the tariff. If you stay Friday and Saturday night only
you don't need to check out of your apartment until 2.00pm on the Sunday.
Breaks
incorporating Christmas Day & New Years Eve are based on a
minimum of 4 nights please apply for tariff.
All our units are fully
centrally heated having colour television, dvd,
video, radio and hairdryer. All bathrooms have
bath and shower. Each kitchen is fully equipped
and includes a dishwasher and deep-freeze. Towels
are changed on alternate days of your visit -
should you require additional changes these are
available at £3.00 per person per change.
A charge of £15.00 per person per day will
be made in respect of additional persons staying
in the apartment in excess of the number specified.
