We are fortunate to have the services of an experienced local Mountain Leader to be available to our guests at Kirkstone Foot.  We offer:

Guided Hill Walking

If you have plans to get to the top of one our Lakeland Mountains but are not too sure of the route or maybe wonder about “what do I do if the mist comes down” then why not use the services of our own experienced Mountain Leader to achieve your goal

Navigation Skills Days

Our Navigation Skills Days have the objective of getting everyone navigating confidently using both basic and more advanced techniques.  The emphasis will be on “getting out there and doing it” and will use our easily accessible local fells

General Hill Walking Advice

Always assuming that our Mountain Leader is not gallivanting up a remote mountain somewhere else on the planet or assessing D of E then advice on either classic or less frequented routes is available all year round!!

Prices and Booking

The price for a days guided hillwalking or navigational instruction is £25 per person or £40 per couple.  Bookable through reception.  Hill walking advice is FOC
