A Lakeland hideaway, on the ground floor, to which dogs are welcome, The Nook is part of the Manor House, but with it’s own private entrance. It is situated near to the shingle path which leads down to Ambleside. There is one step into the apartment and all rooms are on the same level
The front door leads directly into a large open plan kitchen and spacious lounge/dining area
The furnishings and décor are of our usual high standard, offering very comfortable sitting and dining accommodation
An attractive king size bedroom is well appointed, and a modern separate bathroom completes this retreat. Due to it’s positioning, The Nook does feel like a secluded hideaway, and yet gives easy access to the path to the village. There is your own outside seating, a table and two chairs to further enhance your stay
Private parking is adjacent to the apartment

Dogs are charged at £5.00 per dog per night

We are now taking 2 night short notice bookings at the weekend subject to availability. Please apply for the tariff. If you stay Friday and Saturday night only you don't need to check out of your apartment until 2.00pm on the Sunday.
Breaks incorporating Christmas Day & New Years Eve are based on a minimum of 4 nights please apply for tariff.
All our units are fully centrally heated with TV DVD and hairdryer. All bathrooms have either bath with shower over or walk in shower. Each kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher microwave and fridge freezer.
